Welcome to NihongoNana. These terms apply when you use nihongonana.com, book a lesson or join one of our courses. By using our website and services, you agree to them. Please read them carefully, and email support@nihongonana.com if anything is unclear.

1. Booking and payment

  1. When you book a lesson or join a course, please give accurate and complete information about yourself, such as your name and email address.
  2. Paid lessons and courses are paid in full in advance, unless we tell you otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we never see or store your card details.
  3. Prices may change without notice. Promotional offers and discounts are valid for the stated period and may have their own conditions.

2. Courses and learning materials

  1. When you join a course and we receive your payment, you get access to its materials for the length of the course.
  2. Course materials, including videos, audio, worksheets and other resources, are for your personal use only. Please do not copy, share or distribute them without our written permission.
  3. Our lessons and materials are for educational purposes only.

3. Lessons, changes and cancellations

  1. Lessons are booked through our online booking calendar and depend on teacher availability.
  2. If you need to move or cancel a lesson, please do so at least 24 hours before it starts, using the link in your booking email or by contacting us. If you cancel later than that, or miss the lesson without cancelling, the lesson may be forfeited without a refund.
  3. If we have to move or cancel a lesson because of unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you another time or another reasonable arrangement.

4. Refunds and withdrawals

  1. Refunds follow the refund policy described for each course or lesson. For details, see the course description or contact us.
  2. If you withdraw from a course, a refund may be reduced by an administrative fee or in proportion to the part of the course already completed.

5. Intellectual property

  1. NihongoNana owns, or is licensed to use, all rights in our course materials, website content and other resources, including copyrights and trademarks.
  2. You may not copy, change, distribute or create works based on our content without our written permission.

6. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and who receives it. By using our website and services, you agree to the use of your information as described there.

7. Limitation of liability

  1. To the extent permitted by law, NihongoNana and its teachers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages arising from your use of our website, services or materials.
  2. We do not guarantee specific results from our lessons, courses or services. Progress and outcomes vary from learner to learner.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page with their date. If you keep using our website and services after a change, you accept the updated terms.
