日本にほんには「お弁当べんとう」という文化ぶんかがあります。お弁当べんとうは、箱はこの中なかにごはんやおかずを入いれた食たべ物ものです😊最近さいきんは英語えいごでも「Bento Box」とよく聞ききますね～😆日本人にほんじんは学校がっこうや仕事しごとに行いくとき、よくお弁当べんとうを持もっていきます！

お弁当べんとうにはいろいろな種類しゅるいがあります！手作てづくり弁当べんとうとコンビニ弁当べんとうがあって手作てづくり弁当べんとうは家いえで作つくります。コンビニにもたくさんおいしいお弁当べんとうがあります🙌あ、あと駅えきにもあって「駅弁えきべん」といいますよ！

旅行りょこうに行いく時ときに、その場所ばしょの特別とくべつなお弁当べんとうも見みつけることができます！さらに、子こどものお弁当べんとうはとてもかわいいんです🥹これは「キャラ弁べん」といって、どうぶつやアニメの形かたちをしたお弁当べんとうです。子供こどもは喜よろこぶんですが、親おやはきっと大変たいへんですよね（笑）

私わたしも子供こどもの時とき、学生がくせいの時ときはお母かあさんが毎日まいにちお弁当べんとうを作つくりました🙏お弁当べんとうで人気にんきな食たべ物ものは唐揚からあげ、卵焼たまごやき、おにぎり、ウインナーなどです！懐なつかしいな～… 今度こんどお弁当べんとうを作つくってピクニックに行いきたいです😊

【English Translation】

In Japan, there is a culture called “bento.” A bento is a meal where rice and side dishes are packed into a box. These days, you often hear the term “bento box” even in English. In Japan, people often bring bento when they go to school or work.

There are many kinds of bento. There are homemade bento and convenience store bento. Homemade bento are made at home. You can also find many delicious bento at convenience stores. Oh, and you can also find them at train stations—they’re called “ekiben.”

When you travel, you can find special local bento unique to that area. Also, children’s bento can be very cute. These are called “character bento” (charaben), and they are shaped like animals or anime characters. Kids love them, but I think it must be hard work for parents.

When I was a child and also a student, my mom made bento for me every day. Popular bento foods include karaage (fried chicken), tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), onigiri, and sausages. It feels nostalgic. Next time, I want to make a bento and go on a picnic.
