こんにちは！きのうはとてもあつい日でした。

わたしのおじいちゃんとおばあちゃんはやさいや花を育てています。

今はなつやさいの季節です。トマトやきゅうり、なす、ピーマンなど、いろいろなやさいがあります。どれもとても おいしそうです。

花もきれいです。今はあじさいがたくさんさいています。青や白などのあじさいがあって、とてもきれいです。わたしはあじさいが 大好きです。

きのうはわたしもおじいちゃんとおばあちゃんといっしょに畑のしごとをしました。みずをやったり、くさをとったりしました。あつかったけど、たのしかったです。

こうやって自分でやさいを育てることを、日本語で「自家栽培」と言います。おじいちゃんとおばあちゃんは自家栽培のやさいを毎日食べています。

おじいちゃんとおばあちゃんのやさいはスーパーのやさいよりずっとおいしいです。トマトはあまくて、きゅうりは シャキシャキです。

しぜんの中でからだをうごかすのはとてもきもちがいいです。鳥のこえもきこえて、花も見られて、しぜんは本当に すばらしいなと思いました。

また時間があったら手伝いたいです。おじいちゃんとおばあちゃんとすごす時間がわたしは大好きです。

こうやって自分じぶんでやさいを育そだてることを、日本語にほんごで「自家栽培じかさいばい」と言いいます。おじいちゃんとおばあちゃんは自家栽培じかさいばいのやさいを毎日食まいにちたべています。

しぜんの中なかでからだをうごかすのはとてもきもちがいいです。鳥とりのこえもきこえて、花はなも見みられて、しぜんは本当ほんとうに すばらしいなと思おもいました。

また時間じかんがあったら手伝てつだいたいです。おじいちゃんとおばあちゃんとすごす時間じかんがわたしは大好だいすきです。

Hello! Yesterday was a very hot day.

My grandpa and grandma grow vegetables and flowers.

Now it’s the season for summer vegetables. There are many kinds, like tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, and green peppers. They all look very delicious.

The flowers are beautiful too. Right now, many hydrangeas are blooming. There are blue and white hydrangeas, and they are very beautiful. I love hydrangeas.

Yesterday, I worked in the field with my grandpa and grandma. I watered the plants and pulled weeds. It was hot, but it was fun.

In Japanese, we call growing your own vegetables like this “自家栽培 (jika saibai).” My grandparents eat their homegrown vegetables every day.

Their vegetables are much more delicious than the ones at the supermarket. The tomatoes are sweet, and the cucumbers are really crisp.

Moving my body in nature feels really good. I could hear the birds singing, see the flowers, and I thought nature is really wonderful.

I want to help again when I have time. I really love spending time with my grandparents.
