私わたしの最近さいきんの趣味しゅみは川かわに行いって泳およぐこと！夏なつにはちょうどいいアクティビティです😊でも、日本にほんには川かわに行いってはいけない日ひがあると知しっていますか？ちょっと怖こわいかもしれませんがぜひ聞きいてください…

川かわに行いかない方ほうがいい日ひ… それはお盆ぼん！お盆ぼんは、8月はちがつにご先祖様せんぞさまの霊れいをむかえる日ひです。家族かぞくはお墓はかまいりをして、ご先祖様せんぞさまに「ありがとう」と言いいます。でもどうして川かわに行いかない方ほうがいいのでしょうか？

1 .霊れいに引ひきこまれると言いわれている
お盆ぼんは霊れいが帰かえってくる時ときです。川かわや海うみに行いくと、霊れいに連つれて行いかれると言いわれています…

2. 事故じこが多おおい
夏休なつやすみなので川かわや海うみに行いく人ひとが多おおいです。そのため、水みずの事故じこもふえます😱

3. 自然しぜんがあぶない
8月はちがつは台風たいふうや大雨おおあめで川かわの流ながれが強つよくなります。とても危険きけんです！

「お盆ぼんに川かわや海うみに行いってはいけない」というのは昔むかしからの言いい伝つたえです。でも本当ほんとうに事故じこが多おおいので、気きをつけたほうがいいですね。私わたしは川かわが好すきですが… 怖こわいので行いきませんでした（笑）

Obon is the time in August when people welcome the spirits of their ancestors. Families visit graves and say “thank you” to their ancestors. But why shouldn’t you go to the river?

Spirits might pull you in
Obon is when spirits return. It is said that if you go to the river or the sea, the spirits may take you away…
Many accidents happen
Since it’s summer vacation, many people go to rivers and the sea. Because of that, water accidents increase.
Nature is dangerous
In August, typhoons and heavy rains make the river’s flow very strong. It becomes very dangerous!

The saying “Don’t go to the river or the sea during Obon” is an old belief. But in reality, there really are many accidents, so it’s better to be careful.
I like rivers… but I didn’t go because I was scared (lol).
