今日はとてもい日でした。（いつもですね？！（笑））
ずっと雨がふっていたので、今日はひさしぶりに太陽が顔を出しました。
こんない日には、つめたいくだものが食べたくなります！
おばあちゃんにもらったメロンが食べごろになったので、とても楽しみにしていました。
ナイフでメロンを切ると、甘いかおりがふわっと広がって、幸せな気持ちになりました。
メロンはみずみずしくて、甘くて、やわらかくて、とてもおいしかったです。
あつい夏の日に、メロンはぴったりのくだものだと思います。
食べると体がすずしくなって、元気が出ます。
夏はまだまだつづくので、たくさんおいしいくだものを食べたいです。

Today was a very hot day. (As always, right?! lol)
It’s been raining for a long time, so today the sun finally came out.
On a hot day like this, I really crave cold fruit!
The melon my grandmother gave me was finally ripe, so I was really looking forward to eating it.
When I cut into the melon with a knife, a sweet fragrance spread through the air and made me feel happy.
The melon was juicy, sweet, soft, and so delicious.
I think melon is the perfect fruit for a hot summer day.
When you eat it, your body feels cool and you get more energy.
Summer is still going to continue, so I want to enjoy lots of delicious fruit.
