忘年会ぼうねんかいは、一年いちねんの終おわりにあるイベントで、一年いちねんのつらかったことや悪わるかったことを忘わすれよう！という会かいです🙌まあ一年いちねんを振ふり返かえりながらみんなで楽たのしく話はなしたり食たべたり飲のんだりする会かいですね！

会社かいしゃの同僚どうりょうや上司じょうし、大学だいがくの友達ともだちと忘年会ぼうねんかいをすることがほとんどで、大体居酒屋だいたいいざかややレストランでします。でも人数にんずうが多おおくなるので居酒屋いざかやの個室こしつを予約よやくしたほうがいいかもしれません！この予約よやくをしたり、来くる人数にんずうを確認かくにんしたり、みんなからお金かねを集あつめたりするのが大変たいへんでみんなこの役やくになりたくないそうです🫢

昔むかしは会社かいしゃの忘年会ぼうねんかいは必かならず行いかなきゃいけなかったんですが最近さいきんは行いかなくてもよくなったり、お酒さけを飲のまない人ひとはお酒さけを飲のむ人ひとより少すくない金額きんがくを払はらえるようになったりしています！(大体一人だいたいひとりいくらと決きめておいてみんなから現金げんきんで集あつめますが🥺)だんだん忘年会ぼうねんかいが少すくなくなってきていると思おもいます！みなさんは参加さんかしてみたいですか？

Do you know the word bonenkai? If you study kanji well, you might understand this word a little just by looking at it. That’s right—it means “a party to forget the year”
So, what do people forget?

A bonenkai is an event held at the end of the year. It’s a party where people say, “Let’s forget the hard and bad things from this year!”
While looking back on the year, everyone talks, eats, and drinks together and has fun.

Most people have bonenkai with coworkers, bosses, or university friends, and they usually do it at an izakaya or a restaurant. Since the number of people can be large, it might be better to reserve a private room at an izakaya. Making the reservation, checking how many people will come, and collecting money from everyone is hard, so many people don’t want to be in charge of this role.

In the past, people had to go to company bonenkai, but recently it has become okay not to go. Also, people who don’t drink alcohol can sometimes pay less than people who do. (Usually, the price per person is decided, and the money is collected in cash)
