What Japanese People Make with Rice: 3 Popular Dishes

日本では、お米は毎日の食事に絶対必要な食べ物です。朝ご飯、昼ご飯、ばんご飯だけじゃなくて、お弁当やおにぎりなど、いろいろな料理に使います😊みなさんも日本へ旅行に来た時、お米を使った料理を食べるのを楽しみにしていると思います👍だから今日は、日本で人気のお米料理を紹介しますよ!

まず1つ目はおにぎりです。おにぎりは、ご飯を三角や丸い形にして作ります。中には梅、鮭、ツナマヨ、昆布など、いろいろな具が入っています。コンビニやスーパーでも買うことができるので、簡単でとても便利です😊私は夏はやっぱり梅が一番好きですね~😆

2つ目はチャーハンです!ご飯を卵や肉、野菜と一緒に炒めて作ります。よく中華料理(中国の料理)のレストランで人気ですが、家でもよく作りますよ!忙しい人も超簡単に作ることができます😎

3つ目はカレーライスです。最近私の生徒さんたちからよく、日本のカレーが好き!と聞きます🔥日本のカレーは少し甘くて子どもから大人まで大人気です。家でよく作ります!もしかしたら寿司よりカレーが人気になるかも!?

今日は3つ紹介しましたが、日本には、お米を使ったおいしい料理がもっともっとたくさんあります😊みなさんはどれを食べてみたいですか?日本に来るときは、ぜひいろいろなお米料理を楽しんでくださいね👍

【English Translation】

In Japan, rice is an essential part of everyday meals. It’s used not only for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but also in many different dishes like bento lunches and onigiri. I’m sure many of you look forward to trying rice dishes when you visit Japan. So today, I’ll introduce popular rice dishes in Japan!

The first one is onigiri. Onigiri are made by shaping rice into triangles or balls. They are filled with ingredients like pickled plum, salmon, tuna mayonnaise, and kelp. You can buy them at convenience stores and supermarkets, so they’re easy to get and very convenient. Personally, my favorite filling in summer is definitely pickled plum!

The second one is fried rice (chaahan)! It’s made by stir-frying rice together with eggs, meat, and vegetables. It’s a popular dish at Chinese restaurants, but people also make it at home very often. Even busy people can make it really easily!

The third one is Japanese curry rice. Recently, I’ve been hearing from many of my students that they love Japanese curry! Japanese curry is slightly sweet and is loved by both children and adults. It’s also a common homemade meal. Maybe one day it will become even more popular than sushi!?
