๐ฏ First, how do you say “hobby” in Japanese?
The word for hobby is:
โ ่ถฃๅณ๏ผshumi๏ผ
To say “My hobby is…”, you can say:
โ ็งใฎ่ถฃๅณใฏใใงใใ(Watashi no shumi wa ~ desu)
๐ก Casual version:
่ถฃๅณใฏใใ ใ๏ผ๏ผShumi wa ~ dayo๏ผ

In Japanese, when you want to say you like something, you use:
ใใๅฅฝใใงใ (~ ga suki desu)
This works for both nouns and verbs โ but the grammar is a little different. Letโs look at both!
โ For Nouns
Just add ใๅฅฝใใงใ after the noun.
Examples:

When you want to say you like doing something, add ใฎ after the plain form of the verb to turn it into a noun-like word.
Think of ใฎ like adding โ-ingโ in English.
