今いま、たくさんの人ひとがメッセージやSNSでえもじを使つかっています。でも、えもじはどこで生うまれたか知しっていますか？じつは、えもじは日本にほんで生うまれました🇯🇵

1999年ねん、日本にほんのけいたい電話でんわの会社かいしゃが、はじめてえもじを作つくりました📱そのとき、えもじは176こありました！今いまはたくさんのえもじがありますが、そのときはまだ少すくなかったです。えもじは、ことばだけでは気きもちがわかりにくいので作つくられました！たとえば、「ありがとう😊」「おめでとう🎉」「かなしい😢」などです。えもじがあると、気きもちがもっとよくわかります。そして、メッセージももっとたのしくなります😆

日本にほんの人ひとはえもじをたくさん使つかいました。そのあと、ほかの国くにの人ひとも使つかうようになりました🌍今いまでは、世界中せかいじゅうの人ひとがえもじを使つかっています。私わたしも昔むかし、この写真しゃしんにあるえもじを使つかいました！なつかしいですね！今いまはもうないので、少すこしさみしいです🥺

えもじは小ちいさいですが、とてもべんりです👍ことばがなくても、気きもちをつたえることができます😌日本にほんで生うまれたえもじは、今いまでは世界中せかいじゅうで人気にんきがあります✨日本にほんのえもじが世界せかいで使つかわれているのは、とてもうれしいことですね！

Today, many people use emoji in messages and on social media. But do you know where emoji were born?
Actually, emoji were born in Japan.
In 1999, a Japanese mobile phone company created the first emoji.
At that time, there were only 176 emoji. Compared to today, that was a very small number.
Emoji were created because it was sometimes difficult to understand people’s feelings through words alone.
For example:

“Congratulations.🎉”

“I’m sad.😢”

When emoji are added, it becomes easier to understand the emotion behind the message. Messages also become more fun and expressive.
People in Japan quickly started using emoji. Later, people in other countries began using them too.

I used some of the original emoji shown in this picture when I was younger. It brings back memories! Since they are no longer available, I feel a little nostalgic and sad.
Even though emoji are small, they are very useful. They can help us express our feelings without using many words.
